youth flag football registration details and Refund Policy
Under the Lights is the ORIGINAL exclusive youth flag football partner of Unrivaled Sports. The league is for both boys and girls of all skill levels and promotes a competitive, confidence building, non-contact football experience. Registration is OPEN for the 2026 Winter D1 Flag | Under the Lights youth flag football league.
Our main league is hosted at the MOSH Performance Center in Franklin, WI, Game times for all leagues will be scheduled between 4:30 PM and 10:00 PM, depending on the league you choose to join. Choose the location that works best for you and enjoy an exciting season of flag football!
divisions
Our flag football teams are designed to be coed, allowing boys and girls to learn and enjoy the sport together. We aim to offer divisions for kids aged 4 to 14 (kindergarten through eighth grade), ensuring players compete with peers of similar age and ability.
Teams are organized by the athlete’s current grade (not age)
- K-2nd | Grade Coed Division
- 3rd-4th | Grade Coed Division
- 5th-6th | Grade Coed Division
- 7th-8th | Grade Coed Division
While this structure is our goal, divisions are subject to change based on registration counts. Final divisions and team assignments will be determined once registration closes and rosters are finalized.
general league format
- 6 game season plus playoffs or consolation games
- 6 v 6 format on 25 yd wide x 40 yd long fields
- NO pass rush, just a 3-6 second sack count. Emphasis on the pass game and run game limitations.
- Practices are held 30 minutes before the games (Coaches have the option to practice during other nights of the week to prepare their teams).
- NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by “friend” or “coach” request (these are requests and cannot be guaranteed). Single players will be placed on teams with some similarity and familiarity such as same school, neighborhood, organization, etc. as the other players on the team. But teams will be balanced.
- FUN FAMILY ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL!!!
refund policy
We at Under the Lights Flag offer the following refunds within these specific timelines. All refund requests must be submitted by email to your League Commissioner.
- FULL or 100% registration fee refund if requested before uniforms are ordered for the league which occurs 4 weeks prior to kickoff.
- HALF or 50% registration fee refund if requested after uniforms are ordered and up until the Monday after the 1st game of the season
- NO REFUND request submitted and processed after the Monday after the 1st game of the season
- In the event that the Under the Lights Flag season is canceled prior to the 4th game of the season due to an unforeseen event such as a COVID19 outbreak, then HALF or 50% registration fee refund will be processed. If the season is canceled after the 4th game of the season due to an unforeseen event such as a COVID19 outbreak, NO REFUND will be processed.
COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS
- All coaches are volunteers.
- All Coaches and Volunteers must provide the Commissioner of your league with a current Coaches certification and background check. Each certificate is valid for 1 calendar year. If you need to update or obtain both please use the following links:
